What Makes Our Pregnancy Massage Different?
20 years ago, after finishing college, I started a new adventure- I registered for massage therapy school. My family thought I was crazy and, to be honest, I wasn't sure where my life was headed but I did know that I loved the holistic nature of massage.
In school, we had the opportunity to "try" different types of massage. The one massage that I absolutely loved was Pregnancy Massage. Perhaps it was because I always wanted to be a mother myself or maybe just because I was intrigued by the miracle of pregnancy.
After graduating, I started offering pregnancy massage and my interest grew. As a result, I have expanded my knowledge over the years. In addition to basic Pregnancy massage techniques taught casually in most massage schools, I have learned advanced Pregnancy Techniques: aromatherapy for pregnancy, Massage Cupping for Pregnancy, Specialized Bolstering for Pregnancy, Pregnancy Stretching, and more!
During a Pregnancy Massage at my Greensburg studio, you will receive custom techniques, developed over 19 years of hands-on experience working with Pregnant guests. Your session may include Massage Cupping, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and more!
All of our Pregnancy Massage sessions are customized for YOU. Not only do I know what not to massage during pregnancy, I also know what to massage. As a mother of 6, I have been pregnant 6 times. I am familiar with (and have advanced training) in working with high risk pregnancies and I am familiar with common aches and pains of healthy, normal pregnancy, as well as less common situations, like placenta previa, multiples, hyperemesis gravidarum, and gestational diabetes. I am able to offer Pregnancy Massage in my Greensburg studio, your home, or even in a hospital setting.
Safety is always my number one priority, as well as delivering an unparalleled massage experience. Whether at Super Spa Girl, or elsewhere in Greensburg/Westmoreland County, please make sure that your therapist is well-trained in Pregnancy Massage and is not simply "winging it," with little to no experience.
I look forward to working with you soon!
